Massage as a healing medium is used to improve function and form, promote relaxation and well-being by working muscle and connective tissue in the body. A Massage Therapist uses various techniques (Deep Tissue Massage, Postural Correction, Reflexology) to work the muscular and connective tissues in the body. The Massage Therapist identifies the areas of dysfunction and treats the area enabling the client to return to normal function as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Massage Therapy can be firm or gentle depending on the requirements of the client. Massage therapy is beneficial for people in pain, suffering from stress or as general maintenance for the body.
